Cold Porcelain-Gerberas

Cold Porcelain flowers are still a novelty in India though they are extremely popular abroad.
After making C P flowers for about 2 years I can say that they don't crack, crumble or get eaten by insects. I have two baskets full of these beautiful flowers and they look as fresh as ever!
I have decided to showcase cold porcelain flowers at Delhi  and there will be a sale of flowers in the first week of December'12.

Cold Porcelain Gifts

Its always a pleasure to gift handmade items on any occasion as they are highly appreciated and one of a kind.
Today I decided to make gift items out of the cold porcelain flowers which I had made sometime back , they have stood the test of time and can be safely gifted!
The bases have been made with paper clay which I had , I read the instructions , made oval shapes and left them to air dry and painted them black.
The stems had to be cut off and the flowers were stuck to the base, a glue gun or any strong adhesive can be used. Leaves have been put in to give color and contrast.
At the end of the day the gift items turned out well and can be used as great decorative pieces.

One Stroke Painting- Pansies

Pansies are winter flowers and look quite exotic with their unique petal arrangement and coloring .Generally they have two different color combinations in each flower. There can be two yellow and three purple colored petals, or two purple and three white colored petals or light and dark shades in a single flower!
I love pansies and wanted to paint them in pastels , here they are blooming on a wooden tissue holder.
